Multi Family No. 2

Just outside of Portland’s Historic Mississippi District sits a perfect corner lot overlooking the confluence of Albina and Mississippi Avenues. With a small triangular park across the street, the property offers quiet neighborhood vibes and walking distance cafes. A panoramic view of downtown once above the treetops beckons this property to be developed.

The design concept is founded on the ancient post a lintel building practices. Strong and heavy vertical elements give way to openings and lift horizontal floor plates.

The two brother team behind this project are relatively new to developing multi-family buildings in Portland. However, they are eager to learn and have already completed their first project in the city. Their previous experience gives them a foundation to build upon and they are excited to continue developing in the City of Bridges.

The project is currently in its early stages of Design Review through the City of Portland.
